What terribly sad news to hear--I especially love this photo of Steve at El Centro (we called him PeeWee as kids)--from the get-go he was such a dynamo, such a great athlete!--a winsome young man--always with such a great smile:

God we had fun together! Stephen was with me when I got the crap beat out of me in Temple City. We were in search of girlfriends, and he found his sweet wife. I dated young Karla W. We would double-date at the drive-in. It was SWEET!
